Afishionados is a custom aquarium design and service company based in Austin, Texas. Founded by Mitch Mazur, the brand grew from a passion for aquariums and an appreciation for nature, bringing together technology, interior design, and aquatic life. Afishionados creates custom aquariums intended to complement interior spaces while showcasing the movement, depth, and calm of the natural world.
The company specializes in designing and maintaining aquariums inspired by natural environments. Its work includes lush planted displays and exotic coral ecosystems, shaped as living aquascapes rather than conventional fish tanks. By combining aquatic elements with thoughtful design, Afishionados aims to make each aquarium a distinctive feature within its surroundings. The brand’s approach offers a range of creative possibilities, using natural forms and vibrant life to bring an environment to life. Through its design and ongoing service, Afishionados helps clients enjoy custom aquatic displays that balance visual impact with the tranquil character of nature.
