AFITE, or the French Association of Engineers and Technicians for the Environment, established in 1979, is dedicated to advancing environmental knowledge and practices through the expertise of its members. This independent network fosters collaboration among economic stakeholders, associations, and public authorities to promote effective environmental protection, energy efficiency, and sustainable development. AFITE regularly organizes events, seminars, and workshops, providing a platform for members to engage in knowledge exchange on critical topics such as soil monitoring, biodiversity integration, and ecological planning.

Their initiatives include informative sessions on updates to standards like ISO 14001 and hands-on visits to significant environmental facilities. With a commitment to enhancing environmental standards and practices, AFITE plays a crucial role in shaping policies and encouraging sustainable practices in the industry. By connecting professionals in the environmental field, AFITE not only empowers its members but also contributes to a broader societal transition towards sustainability and ecological responsibility
