AFK SE

AFKSE is the A. F. K.

Cultural, Leisure and Sports Association, one of the organizers of the Várvölgy Run, together with KSE Várvölgy and the Várvölgyért Association. The event brings runners to the Várvölgy sports field for a friendly, non-competitive community running experience, with participants encouraged to enjoy the course and challenge themselves at their own pace. The sixth Várvölgy Run is scheduled for May 16, 2026, and offers three distances: 7, 14, and 21 kilometres.

The participation fee includes a custom finisher’s medal and race number, refreshments, and a meal after the run. Participants can use changing facilities, restrooms, and showers at the sports field, while free parking is available in the Várvölgy school courtyard. Advance registration is offered at a lower fee than registration on the day, and a paid entry can be transferred by notifying the organizers.

AFKSE also provides event information and registration details, and sets participation rules emphasizing safety, respectful conduct, and care for people and the natural environment
