The Association of Free Lutheran Congregations (AFLC) is a unique and vibrant Christian fellowship that strives to build a strong and orderly community based on faith. With a firm belief in the power of the Spirit of God, the AFLC is an experiment in extreme ecclesiastical democracy and decentralization, emphasizing the uniting power of Christian love and cooperation. Unlike traditional synods, the AFLC is a cooperative venture that prioritizes personal Christian experiences over complicated doctrines or elaborate organizational structures.
The AFLC aims to cultivate the spiritual life in simplicity, nourishing its members through the Word of God, while also valuing the ordered ministry of consecrated and trained individuals.
