About Afloat Network
Afloat is a platform that offers a range of products and services in the realm of 3D assets and distribution, using innovative blockchain technology. At Afloat, our mission is to create an open ecosystem where creators, projects, and collectors can seamlessly connect through our platform. We strive to nurture collaboration, innovation, and creation, allowing for the telling of stories that can be experienced in both digital and physical forms.
Our platform serves as a hub for 3D content creation and distribution, providing infrastructure for the current 3D industry and the future of Web3. With a web app that allows users to explore and engage with 3D assets, we offer a cross-platform experience, starting with MacOS, iOS, and VisionOS, and expanding to Windows and Linux. Utilizing the open-source Substrate framework, our blockchain tracks assets, projects, and data.
We prioritize user privacy by storing their data using zero-knowledge proof, ensuring full ownership. While our focus is currently on developing the digital part of Afloat, we are also exploring the incorporation of a physical aspect and its potential implementation.
