About AFOCO
The Asociación Fotográfica Cordobesa (AFOCO) was established in 1981 as a non-profit cultural entity, registered under the Spanish Ministry of Interior. AFOCO has gained prominence through its active participation in the Córdoba Photography Biennial and the prestigious Mezquita Awards, celebrating the artistry and heritage of photography. The organization has received notable accolades, including the National Photography Award in 1992 and the Andalusian Culture Award from the Junta de Andalucía in 2018.
AFOCO is dedicated to promoting photography as an art form, offering a variety of exhibitions, workshops, and educational activities for its members and the public.
