AFR Douvaine is a nonprofit Familles Rurales association serving families in Douvaine, in France’s Haute-Savoie region. Its work focuses on childcare, leisure activities and community events for children aged 3 to 14. The association provides before- and after-school care, offering a welcoming place for children at the start and end of the school day. On Wednesdays, it runs recreational sessions featuring activities, games and outings. During school holidays, its leisure centre offers programmes that include themed projects, stages and excursions.
AFR Douvaine also organises events, celebrations and performances throughout the year, creating opportunities for children and families to take part in local community life. The organisation describes its spaces as places where children can play, discover new experiences and grow together. Families can find programme information, manage practical arrangements through the family portal, and contact the secretariat by phone, email or appointment. Based at Chemin du Maisse in Douvaine, AFR Douvaine aims to meet families’ needs through its childcare, leisure and event services.
