About Africa20Twenty
Africa20twenty is a Christian, ethical organization that is dedicated to bringing hope and improving the lives of those in Africa through the restoration of sight. They provide accessible and high-quality cataract surgery to patients in need across rural Africa, regardless of their status. With a team of highly skilled and inspired medical professionals, Africa20twenty offers pro bono cataract removal procedures through their nomadic ocular surgery mobile units.
Initially based in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa, Africa20twenty is now gearing up to expand across southern Africa and beyond. Their goal is to perform 800 cataract operations before the end of 2022 and 3000 operations per year by December 2023. With a strong commitment to their mission, Africa20twenty partners with like-minded organizations to ensure the success of their specialized treatments.
