ACHAP is the Africa Christian Health Associations Platform, a prominent advocacy and networking platform for Christian Health Associations (CHAs) and Church Health Networks in Sub-Saharan Africa. Established in 2007 with the support of the World Council of Churches, ACHAP aims to promote health for all in Africa, guided by equity, justice, and human dignity. As a regional NGO, ACHAP facilitates joint advocacy, networking, and communication among Christian Health Associations and Church Health Networks to ensure equitable access to quality healthcare in Africa.

ACHAP's core mandate includes promoting effective engagement of Church Health Services, coordinating joint advocacy efforts, and supporting member organizations. ACHAP is led by a Board and supported by Thematic Technical Working Groups comprised of various member CHAs. The operations of the platform are coordinated by a Secretariat hosted by the Christian Health Association of Kenya (CHAK) in Nairobi.

ACHAP currently has 43 member CHAs from 32 countries and offers a collaborative network for knowledge sharing and joint learning. Through its conferences, workshops, and programs, ACHAP equips member facilities to deliver better care for their communities. Previous conferences have focused on various topics such as primary health care, maternal and child health, WASH in healthcare settings, health finances, and partnerships.

ACHAP is committed to its mission and continuously supports its members in their efforts to provide equitable and quality healthcare in Africa.
