About Africa Fintech Network
Africa Fintech Network is a platform that brings together fintech leaders, organizations, and stakeholders from across Africa. With over 34 registered associations and 18 strategic partners, the network aims to connect Africa and the global community through open dialogue and the creation of various opportunities in fintech. Their goal is to drive Africa-led fintech solutions and related technologies by nurturing synergies within the ecosystem.
The network was formally inaugurated in Lagos, Nigeria, on December 4th, 2018, during the first Africa Fintech Festival, in the presence of influential leaders and institutions. The formal launch took place in Marrakesh, Morocco, on March 24th, 2019, as part of the 2019 UNECA Conference of Ministers of Finance & Economic Planning. By uniting Africa's fintech community, Africa Fintech Network aims to catalyze Africa's digital economy and foster collaboration and innovation in the industry
