African Fashion Foundation is a non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering fashion designers and creatives from Africa and the Diaspora. Our mission is to support their success in the global fashion industry by providing professional and educational developmental opportunities. In partnership with established players in the fashion industry, we offer initiatives that help foster growth and progression in the African creative economy.

One of our flagship programs is the African Fashion Foundation Scholarship, which provides mentoring and financial support to emerging fashion, textiles, and design talent from Sub-Saharan Africa. We also offer the Roberta Annan Scholarship, specifically designed to support young fashion communication, business, and media talent. Additionally, we organize industry retreats aimed at fostering collaboration among key stakeholders and addressing challenges in the industry.

Our fashion sustainability project, Recycle, Rework, Reuse, aims to tackle fashion waste and promote sustainable product life cycles.
