About A Girl Foundation
African Girl Foundation (AGF) was founded by siblings Rajeev & Riya Sharma, who are passionate about using education to fight poverty in Africa, with a particular focus on supporting girls. AGF aims to address the issue of period poverty, which can significantly impact girls' access to education. The foundation provides reusable sanitary kits to school girls, offers training on sexual & reproductive health, and organizes mentorship workshops to equip them with the skills they need for a successful future.
AGF works closely with vulnerable communities in Kenya to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young girls and women. By tackling the taboo and stigma around menstruation, AGF is empowering the next generation of African women.
