About AGV Renewable Energy
AGV Renewable Energy, also known as African Green Ventures, is a Cape Town-based renewable energy project development company with a mission to create sustainable and reliable solutions for the Sub-Saharan African market. Established in 2018 as a consultancy, AGV became a subsidiary of Magnora in 2022, allowing it to transition into a project development company under the corporate structure of Magnora. AGV's business model focuses on identifying and developing large-scale renewable energy projects, and the company currently manages a project development pipeline of approximately 2GW.
As a subsidiary of Magnora ASA, a Norwegian renewable energy investment company listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange, AGV benefits from the extensive experience and expertise of its board members in the renewable energy sector.
