About Africa Pension Supervisors Association
Africa Pension Supervisors Association (APSA) is a pivotal platform that unites pension industry regulators and supervisors from various countries in Africa. Established in September 2019 during the inaugural Africa Pensions Supervisors Conference in Nairobi, APSA boasts founding member countries such as Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, and Rwanda. Currently, APSA comprises regulators from 15 countries overseeing assets worth over US$350 billion, representing a significant portion of pension assets in Africa.
APSA, with the backing of technical assistance from FSD Africa, advances its mission through three core initiatives: Policy and Regulatory Support, Research, Knowledge Management, and Capacity building, along with Collaboration and Networking. Testimonials from industry leaders praise APSA for promoting collaboration, knowledge sharing, and regulatory improvements within Africa's pension landscape. By prioritizing investments in Africa, APSA aims to boost confidence and foster growth across the continent's pension sector. Join APSA to be part of shaping Africa's pension future.
