Africa Women Summit is a pan-African platform dedicated to empowering women and advancing social, economic, and political transformation across the continent. Founded in 2018, it brings together women from diverse countries, professions, and backgrounds to build connections, exchange ideas, and encourage meaningful change. Its gatherings welcome entrepreneurs, activists, corporate leaders, policymakers, and other change-makers, with more than 2,000 women from 40 African countries having participated.
The summit has held events in Nigeria, Dubai, Rwanda, and South Africa, including its 2024 conference in Nairobi, Kenya. Through conferences, community activities, volunteering, and membership, Africa Women Summit offers opportunities to learn, collaborate, share experience, and support initiatives focused on womenโs empowerment. The organization also invites donations to help sustain its projects and encourages supporters to become members or volunteers.
Its 2026 UK Chapter conference in London will raise awareness and funds in response to Sierra Leoneโs Kush crisis, supporting young people and communities working to reclaim their future
