After Baby RNs provides in-home postpartum and newborn care for families in the Dallas/Fort Worth and Oklahoma City metropolitan areas. Its experienced registered nurses support parents from the first days at home through the months that follow, offering practical help in a familiar setting. Services include newborn and maternal care, breastfeeding and lactation support, baby weight checks, vital-sign checks and limited physical assessments, infant-care education, and help with fussy babies and sleep.
Families can also arrange night nursing or postpartum doula support, and the team includes International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs). The service is designed to give parents a safe space to learn and practice caring for their baby, build confidence, and, when desired, get more rest. After Baby RNs also offers CPR instruction and shares educational articles on topics such as breastfeeding, mastitis, and anesthesia.
Care is available to hospital-birth families as well as parents who give birth outside a hospital, with visits tailored to their needs
