After Citizens United is a civic information platform that helps people explore federal elections and understand the money and interests documented in public records. Users can enter an address to find their representatives and covered House and Senate races, or search for candidates, committees, organizations, people, reported payees, and official IDs. The site presents campaign finance alongside outside spending, separating reported support from opposition and linking figures to underlying filings. It also offers information about federal lobbying and foreign representation, including searches by issue, country, name, and filing details.

Beyond its search tools, After Citizens United provides plain-language guides, a glossary, research and debate, explanations of data sources and coverage, and information about known gaps. Free campaign finance widgets are available for voter guides, articles, and civic websites, with institutional access to underlying research data also described. The platform emphasizes that its records cover only specified sources, filing types, and dates, so missing results should not be read as proof that no activity occurred.
