In 2022, the festival made a triumphant return to in-person events, featuring prominent Canadian authors like Lawrence Hill and Katherena Vermette, as well as hosting captivating events for children in English and French at the Halifax Central Library. In 2023, AfterWords Literary Festival promises another exhilarating lineup of both local and international talent, with in-person programming across various venues in Halifax from October 29 to November 5.
