About AGEP
AGEP - Arbeitsgruppe Elektrophysiologie und Rhythmologie (AG 1) is a prominent division within the German Society of Cardiology (DGK), dedicated to advancing the field of electrophysiology and rhythmology. With over 1,500 members, AGEP aims to enhance diagnostic accuracy and therapeutic strategies for heart rhythm disorders, whichaffect millions of individuals across Europe, with more than 2 million cases reported in Germany alone.
Offering a comprehensive array of services, AGEP focuses on education and training through organized congresses, such as the renowned German Rhythm Days, and specific courses designed for medical professionals. The group collaborates closely with the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) to ensure high standards in the field.
