Agada

Associazione Genovese Amici degli Animali (AGADA) is a volunteer-run organization dedicated to animals and their welfare. Based in Genoa, Italy, it shares information about its work through updates on projects, personal stories and public initiatives. Its website features accounts of local animal-related activities, including a young hedgehog taking its first steps outside the family’s winter shelter, reflecting the association’s interest in wildlife as well as animals more broadly.

AGADA also promotes public awareness and engagement. Its announced “Nuovi Amici” event, held at Genoa’s Palazzo Tursi, brought people together for a public meeting, while the organization publishes information about its activities and annual accounts. The site includes sections on projects and “foresteria,” alongside stories and contact information, though it does not specify the full scope or terms of any accommodation or direct services. The association’s messaging places animal protection within a wider concern for the environment, biodiversity and ecosystems, including the interests of future generations. AGADA is registered as a volunteer organization and identifies itself by its Italian fiscal code.
