Agape Birth Services provides doula support and education for families across the greater Portland, Oregon, and Vancouver, Washington, areas. Founded by Maria, the practice has supported families since 2007, offering compassionate guidance through pregnancy, birth, and the transition to parenthood. Its services focus on preparation for birth, support during labor and delivery, and postpartum readiness, with care tailored to each family’s unique journey.

Maria describes birth as a transformative experience and approaches her work with respect for each client’s strength, knowledge, and choices. Families value her calming presence and practical support, and testimonials also note continued care after birth. Agape Birth Services serves communities throughout the region, including Portland, Beaverton, Hillsboro, Gresham, Lake Oswego, Oregon City, and Vancouver.

The practice recognizes the impact of systemic racism on maternal and infant health and advocates for equitable, culturally respectful care. Maria honors diverse ways of knowing and encourages families seeking culturally specific support to explore local community resources.
