Agarwood Guide is an independent educational resource and supplier directory focused on agarwood and oud. Its guides explain the material’s origins, formation, cultural significance, regional varieties, grading, and practical uses, from burning incense chips to distilling, wearing, storing, and collecting oud. The site covers Aquilaria and Gyrinops species and producing regions including Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, India, Laos, and Malaysia.

A central focus is helping readers assess quality and avoid counterfeit or misrepresented products. Resources cover resin density and sinking tests, grading systems, synthetic oud oil, origin claims, pricing, and questions to ask before buying. The guide also explains CITES-related trade considerations and documentation.

For buyers, Agarwood Guide maintains a regional and product-based directory of sellers, distillers, and artisans. Listings are intended to help users find oud oil and attars, agarwood beads and malas, and collector pieces such as high-grade chips and aged oil. The site also invites reputable agarwood businesses to apply for inclusion.
