About Agati Library Rwanda
Agati Library, located in Musanze District, was established by six young individuals who share a deep connection to their community. These co-founders, who grew up together and understand the challenges and opportunities in Musanze, have created a safe haven for learning beyond the traditional classroom setting. With over 2000 monthly visits, Agati Library aims to provide access to books to Rwandan children, empowering them to break the cycle of poverty.
Since its inception in April 2018, the library has evolved into a dynamic learning hub, thanks to the dedication of the team and their strategic approach to sustainability. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, Agati Library has adapted its programs to continue promoting literacy through initiatives like the Agati Mobile Library and the Nge Nawe Dusome Radio Program. Partnering with organizations like Save The Children, Agati Library is committed to fostering a culture of reading and knowledge-sharing in Rwanda
