Club Mezcal is an educational platform that has been promoting the culture of mezcal in Puerto Rico since 2021. In June 2023, Club Mezcal evolved into a physical space within the gastronomic park Lote 23, in Santurce, P.R., taking mezcal education to the next level with a new mezcaleria.

Their Mezcaleadas, a combination of a workshop on the history, process, and tradition of mezcal, along with a guided tasting, offer an immersive experience. They also offer private tastings for mezcal enthusiasts, restaurants, and bars, as well as team-building events for corporations.

Club Mezcal can act as a bilingual ambassador for mezcal brands in the Caribbean and the United States. They have a mezcaleria located in the gastronomic park Lote 23 in Santurce, Puerto Rico.

Club Mezcal is driven by Paul Gonzalez-Mangual, their Chief Mezcal Officer, whose passion for food and culinary world led him to deep dive into the mezcal industry. With his expertise and certifications, including being a barista certified by the Specialty Coffee Association and a bartender certified by the International Bartenders Association, Paul brings a wealth of knowledge to Club Mezcal.

In addition to their dedication to gastronomy and mezcal, Paul has authored five books, given a TEDx talk, contributed to culinary media, and currently serves as a co-host on the culinary podcast "Hablemos de Comida."
