The Chilean Agency for International Development Cooperation (AGCID) is Chile’s public agency for promoting and coordinating international development cooperation. Based in Santiago, it works with national and international partners to support the exchange of knowledge, experience, and expertise. Its cooperation activities include development cooperation within Chile, South-South cooperation, triangular cooperation, and bilateral cooperation agreements. The agency also facilitates programs that help partner countries strengthen institutional and technical capacities, as reflected in its initiatives with countries across Latin America.

AGCID offers scholarship opportunities for both Chileans and international applicants, and publishes information about its cooperation policy, strategy, regulatory framework, and management. Its website provides news on international cooperation, recommended publications, agency documents, bibliographies, and links to relevant research resources, libraries, and other centers in Chile. Visitors can also find press coverage and videos, learn about cooperation mechanisms, and contact the agency or submit inquiries through its public information service. Through these programs and resources, AGCID supports Chile’s engagement in development cooperation and encourages collaboration among governments, institutions, and specialists.
