Age UK Bournemouth, Poole & East Dorset (Age UK BPED) is a registered charity working in partnership with Age UK to support older people across Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and East Dorset. Its services help people stay independent, connected and well, with support tailored to different needs and circumstances.

For people aged 60 and over, the charity offers welcoming day services, including a “Let’s Connect” group and a Dementia Day Centre. Its Help at Home team assists people over 55 with everyday tasks such as gardening, cleaning and technology support. Footcare services include simple toenail cutting and advanced footcare for people over 55. The organisation also provides free, confidential benefits advice for people aged 55 and over in the BCP area, helping them understand and access financial support.

To reduce isolation and encourage wellbeing, Age UK BPED runs community connections and social activities, as well as gentle and seated yoga, seated exercise, walking groups, pub clubs and day trips.
