A Gift From Tray

A Gift From Tray is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity established on December 3, 2020, in memory of Trayvon Delane Trammer. The organization supports young African American men from single-parent households as they enter or attend four-year Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Its mission is to strengthen students’ educational experiences and help them thrive in college and beyond.

A Gift From Tray provides scholarships to help address education costs, mentorship programs that offer guidance and encouragement, and care packages with personal care essentials. Its support is intended to help students navigate financial pressures, adjustment to college life, and other challenges. Fundraising campaigns help sustain these programs and extend assistance to more students.

The organization also welcomes donors, volunteers, mentors, and community members to take part in its work. Support options include one-time donations, student sponsorship, mentorship volunteering, and participation in fundraising events. Through the Tray Legacy Circle, monthly supporters provide recurring contributions toward scholarships, educational resources, and student support.
