Its goal is to help people of all ages maintain or regain independence and practical abilities for everyday life, school, and work when these are affected by illness, injury, age, or disability.

Services cover pediatrics, neurology, orthopedics, psychiatry, and geriatrics, as well as cognitive skills training. Treatments include sensory integration, motor and functional therapy, Bobath and hand therapy, support for swallowing difficulties and facial paralysis, concentration and hearing-perception training, relaxation techniques, and thermotherapy. The practice also offers dementia-related support, caregiver guidance, assistive-device advice, and home visits. Care begins with an occupational therapy assessment and an individually agreed treatment goal. Therapy may take place at either clinic or, where appropriate, in patients’ homes and community settings such as schools, kindergartens, and care homes. agila serves members of statutory health insurance schemes and private patients.
