AGIS

AGIS is a Warsaw-based public benefit association supporting adults whose independence is limited by mental or neurological conditions or emotional disorders. Its work is centered on the AGIS Occupational Therapy Workshop, which provides activities intended to help participants develop skills, build confidence and find a place in social life. The workshop serves adults aged 18 to 55 and offers rehabilitation alongside practical and creative sessions.

Activities include handicrafts and visual arts, computer classes and economic skills training. Participants can explore crafts such as ceramics, jewelry-making, painting, weaving and stained glass, with their work featured in exhibitions and galleries. AGIS also organizes outings, cultural visits, trips and other events, and shares news through its community magazine.

The association’s programs combine rehabilitation, learning and opportunities for social participation. AGIS is registered as a public benefit organization and welcomes support through donations and the Polish tax allocation mechanism. Its workshop is located in the Mokotów district of Warsaw, where the association works to assist people facing challenges in everyday independence.
