AgitÁgueda is an art festival that contributes to the cultural landscape of the city in an unparalleled way. Since 2006, the festival has hosted approximately 500 groups and artists on its stage. The festival not only showcases established names but also promotes new musical projects through the Talentos AgitÁgueda competition, aimed at supporting emerging national artistic endeavors.

The festival offers a diverse range of activities, including concerts, street animation, after-hours events, and other activities. Concerts feature a lineup of renowned and emerging artists across various genres, ensuring a vibrant and dynamic experience for attendees. Street animation adds a lively atmosphere to the festival, with performances by artists, silent parties, and a variety of interactive experiences.

In addition to the festival, Águeda itself is a municipality with multiple landscapes. Visitors can explore the natural beauty of the Pateira de Fermentelos, the largest natural lagoon in the Iberian Peninsula, and enjoy pedestrian trails that showcase the various points of interest in the area. The city also offers a riverside area for walks or bike rides, traditional shopping areas, and delicious local gastronomy.
