AGMA Security Service, Inc. was founded in 2010, in Hormigueros, Puerto Rico by Mr. Edgardo J. Toro Chiques, President and CEO, with the idea of creating a high-level security organization that could make an impact in Puerto Rico. As a result of his vision, commitment and dedication, AGMA has continued to grow and evolve, with a superior team comprised of Armed Forces and State Police veterans with over 100 years of combined experience. With a decade of participation in the security industry, the company has a central office in Hormigueros and another in the metropolitan area in Puerto Rico. In the United States of America, we have an office in Florida, Virginia and soon to open in Texas. We offer complete solutions, resources, and security management of the highest quality, acquiring important contracts with private clients in the commercial and residential sectors, as well as Local State and Federal Government. In 2018, the Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) awarded AGMA the most important security contract as part of the recovery efforts in Puerto Rico after Hurricanes Irma and Maria. As part of this contract, AGMA was the provider of 64 Disaster Recovery Centers (DRC) in Puerto Rico, including the municipalities of Vieques and Culebra. To this day, AGMA is certified as 8(a) by the Small Business Administración (SBA), and as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) by the Puerto Rico Highway and Transportation Authority.
