Agnes Buronyi Art is the practice of an artist who creates original portraits and artworks from laminated glass. Using a hammer and chisels, she works with the medium’s unpredictable fractures, transforming a material that is both fragile and tough into striking pieces designed to captivate and challenge viewers. Because each strike creates a permanent, distinctive fracture pattern, every artwork is a one-of-a-kind original that will never be replicated.
The collection includes original glass artworks, with pieces available to view through the brand’s online collection. Agnes Buronyi Art also offers bespoke commissions and collaborations for private collectors, hotels, interior designers, luxury brands, architects and commercial businesses. Each commission is developed for its intended environment, bringing custom glass art beyond the gallery wall to help define a space or support an identity. The website provides information about the artist’s process and invites visitors to enquire about commissions, explore available and upcoming works, and review practical details such as shipping and delivery policies.
