About AGOS
AGOS is a political weekly newspaper that focuses on democratization, minority rights, confronting the past, and preserving and promoting pluralism in Turkey. It was founded in 1996 by Hrant Dink and a group of friends with the aim of bringing the issues of the Turkish Armenian community to the public eye. AGOS is the first Turkish-Armenian newspaper published in Turkish during the Republican era.
As an independent and free platform for discussion, AGOS is committed to expanding its coverage to include both Turkish and global issues.
