AGRENES is the trading brand of Agriculture Environment & Ecosystems Ltd, a Uganda-registered company established in 2014. It connects more than 1,500 smallholder farmers with households, independent retailers and foodservice buyers, delivering Ugandan produce to customers in the UK. Produce is air-freighted from Entebbe to Gatwick four times a week, with a maintained cold chain; the company says delivery can take 72 hours from farm to UK door.

Its products include fresh fruit and vegetables, bananas and plantain, roots and tubers, herbs and spices, grains, legumes, flours, powdered foods and beverages. Examples include avocados, matoke, peppers, cassava flour, millet, groundnuts and bushera. The store also offers food boxes and African crafts, alongside retail and bulk-order options.

AGRENES states that its produce is GAP and UNBS certified and that its operations are HACCP compliant. UK delivery is available, with free delivery on orders over £40. The company also serves UAE retail customers, while wholesale orders for other international markets are handled through its separate export website
