Agriconnect

Agriconnect is a digital portal supported by the Agence Rurale, created to connect professionals and public organisations across New Caledonia’s rural economy. It brings together information and contacts for agriculture, livestock, fishing and aquaculture, forestry, beekeeping and related sectors, helping users find relevant resources in one place.

The portal publishes sector news and events, and provides guidance on available support, administrative procedures and project funding. Its resource library includes technical fact sheets, sector studies, information on quality labels, public policies, and research and development. Agriconnect also promotes initial, professional and online training, including MOOCs.

A searchable directory helps users locate public organisations, research and training bodies, producer groups, industry associations, and insurance and finance providers. The site also shares statistics and employment opportunities. By making practical information and sector connections more accessible, Agriconnect aims to support rural professionals as they develop their activities and expertise. It also highlights local production, initiatives and opportunities across New Caledonia’s agricultural, food and fishing industries.
