About l'Agriculture paysanne
FADEARnational is an engaged and militant network for peasant agriculture. With over 35 years of expertise, the FADEAR (Associative Federation for the Development of Agricultural and Rural Employment) brings together 70 associations of farmers and other actors in rural areas. They share their experiences and know-how, promoting the values of peasant agriculture to support the installation of numerous farmers and the vitality of territories.
The Peasant Agriculture Charter defines the network's vision, which has been in place since its creation in 1984. The network specializes in supporting projects of individuals from non-agricultural backgrounds, with nearly 60% of installations of this type being accompanied. With 137 facilitators in 70 structures across the country, FADEAR supports aspiring farmers by organizing over 500 training sessions and involving over 3,000 supporters.
Their mission is to promote peasant agriculture by helping more farmers establish themselves and ensuring the successful transmission of their farms
