Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias de España

Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias de España is the national organisation promoting and representing agricultural and food cooperatives across Spain. With more than 30 years of experience, it brings together a network of over 3,600 cooperatives and more than one million member families, supporting businesses owned by and serving their members. Its work spans a broad range of sectors, including olive oil, fruit and vegetables, cereals, wine, livestock and other crops, as well as supplies and insurance.

The organisation provides information, training, events and resources to strengthen cooperative businesses and the wider agri-food sector. Its services include sector updates, market reports, publications, educational materials and forums for sharing knowledge. It also supports initiatives in sustainability, innovation, equality and youth participation, and coordinates European projects addressing issues such as climate resilience, water management, biodiversity and the circular economy. Through communications, advocacy and collaboration with partners, Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias de España works to improve the competitiveness and future prospects of cooperatives while promoting the contribution of cooperative enterprise to Spanish agriculture and food production.
