AH Budgetcoach

AH Budgetcoach helps individuals and households understand and manage their finances, with the aim of improving their financial situation and preventing or addressing payment arrears. Based in the Alphen aan den Rijn area of the Netherlands, the service begins with a no-obligation introductory meeting at the client’s home. Together, the client and budget coach review the financial circumstances, identify challenges and explore practical ways forward.

Support is available for a range of life changes and financial needs, including adjusting spending after a change in income, managing finances when moving out independently, understanding the financial effects of divorce, and reviewing housing affordability after the loss of a partner. AH Budgetcoach also offers budget guidance for young people and seniors, budgeting advice, help with household administration, and support with setting up an organized financial administration. Clients can seek help to understand monthly income and expenses, save toward a goal, or work toward resolving arrears. Additional resources include a service subscription, an online course and free e-books.
