AHEAD Ireland is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to creating inclusive environments in education and employment for people with disabilities. With a focus on further education and training, higher education, and graduate employment, AHEAD provides valuable information and resources to students, graduates, teachers, guidance counselors, and parents on disability issues in education. AHEAD conducts national research and actively contributes to national policy forums, working towards the inclusion of students with disabilities.

Professional development opportunities are also provided to enhance the capacity of staff in further education and higher education institutions to promote inclusivity. In addition, AHEAD collaborates with graduates and employers through the GET AHEAD Graduate Forum and the WAM Mentored Work Placement Programme. As a partner of the LINK network, AHEAD actively promotes the inclusion of students and graduates with disabilities in higher education across Europe.
