American Heart of Poland Group (AHP) is a nationwide healthcare provider founded in 2000 by Polish and American physicians. It delivers integrated, continuous, multidisciplinary care for patients with cardiovascular and other lifestyle-related diseases, combining health education, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation. The group focuses on conditions including acute coronary syndromes, peripheral artery disease, heart rhythm and conduction disorders, heart failure and heart defects. Its services are available across Poland, primarily through contracts with the National Health Fund.

AHP’s network includes seven multispecialty hospitals, interventional cardiology centres, specialist clinics, and primary and outpatient specialist care. Its wider organisation also includes Uzdrowisko Ustroń, the “With Heart for the Patient” Foundation and a Research and Development Centre. The group conducts medical research and works to bring new discoveries and technologies into clinical practice. At Uzdrowisko Ustroń, patients can access rehabilitation programmes and therapeutic and care treatments. Through its Scanmed group, AHP also provides primary care, specialist outpatient services and hospital treatment across nearly 40 locations.
