AhrensDOG is an independent dog shop in Ahrensburg, founded by Julia and opened in June 2025. Created from her dream of running a dog store, the brand puts dogs and their people at the heart of its product selection and service. Julia is a trained canine physiotherapist and draws on her experience with dogs and interest in nutrition to offer thoughtful, individual guidance.
The shop stocks food and treats, including BARF, wet and dry food, chews, snacks, and nutritional supplements. Its wider range includes harnesses, leads, collars, coats, bowls, travel accessories, toys, grooming products, and equipment for canicross and mantrailing. Customers can also use online BARF and nutrition calculators.
AhrensDOG offers personal consultations, with particular attention to choosing and fitting harnesses. Visitors can see and try products in the Ahrensburg store, and quieter appointments are available for dogs that need extra time or a calmer setting. The aim is to help each customer find practical, quality products suited to their dog, rather than simply make a sale.
