About AwakenedHeartSangha
Awakened Heart Sangha is a spiritual community founded by students of Lama Shenpen Hookham, a highly respected Buddhist teacher with almost 50 years of training in the Mahamudra and Dzogchen traditions of Tibetan Buddhism. Based in Wales, Lama Shenpen guides students from around the world through her retreat center. The community, known as Sangha in Buddhism, consists of teachers, students, and supporters who are dedicated to the path of Awakening.
They actively participate in the Living the Awakened Heart training, contributing to the growth and sustainability of the community for their own benefit and the benefit of all beings. Lama Shenpen's residence, known as the Hermitage of the Awakened Heart, serves as the main teaching center for retreats and courses, broadcasting teachings globally to reach anyone, anywhere. Awakened Heart Sangha offers additional teachings, online meditation, and welcomes donations for their spiritual endeavors.
