AHYHA

Andover Huskies Youth Hockey Association (AHYHA) is a community youth hockey organization based in Andover, Minnesota. Serving players across multiple age groups and skill levels, the association offers travel teams, mite and 8U hockey, girls’ hockey, and development opportunities for young athletes. Its Junior Huskies program introduces children ages 3–8 to the sport, helping beginners learn hockey fundamentals and giving young skaters additional time on the ice.

AHYHA supports player growth through tryouts, seasonal training, summer development programs, and team activities for mites, youth players, girls, and high school-age athletes. The association also hosts tournaments, including the Andover Girls Fall Classic, and shares team schedules, registration details, apparel, and event information with families. Coaches, team managers, volunteers, coordinators, and board members contribute to its programs and operations. AHYHA provides scholarship information for Andover high school students and invites members to observe board meetings. Its home arena is the Andover Community Center, with additional activities at East Bethel Ice Arena and local outdoor rinks.
