About AI NATION
AI NATION is a Germany-wide support and accelerator platform for early-stage startups developing artificial intelligence. Created through the merger of AI+MUNICH and K.I.E.Z., it brings together strengths in Berlin and Munich while expanding its connections across other regions. The platform links science, industry, and society to help founders turn AI research and ideas into viable companies.
Its programs support startups from initial validation through growth after incorporation. Teams can receive up to €45,000 in founder scholarships over six months, alongside hands-on mentorship from experienced founders, AI experts, and coaches. For incorporated startups, a separate six-month program offers guidance on go-to-market strategy, product development, and fundraising. Participants can also access investors, workshops, office and lab spaces, and startup perks such as cloud and AI credits, software, and partner resources.
AI NATION also provides a curated network of founders, alumni, corporates, and experts, plus access to compute, data, tools, and compliance services. Its stated results include more than 250 startups built, over €340 million raised, and 1,700 jobs created.
