About AΙ4Copernicus
AI4Copernicus is a European H2020 project that aims to bridge the gap between Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Earth Observation (EO). Their goal is to make the AI4EU AI-on-demand platform, which has already been developed, the digital environment of choice for users of Copernicus data, as well as for researchers and innovators. The project aims to integrate resources and large EO data from existing providers, provide access to training materials and expertise, and enrich the AI4EU resources catalogue.
They also aim to incentivize diverse AI4EU and Copernicus communities to solve real business and societal problems through a series of four open calls. The open calls will require the utilization of DIAS platforms, Copernicus data, and the AI4EU platform. By organizing, facilitating, and mentoring these open calls, AI4Copernicus aims to reach new user domains and boost the use of the AI4EU platform
