Aiarako Bira is a prominent cycling event in the cadet category, held annually in Aiaraldea, Spain. Established in 1990, it has become the flagship competition in the region, showcasing the talent and passion of aspiring young cyclists aged 15 and 16. The event comprises six challenging stages, including five road races and one individual time trial, covering a total distance of 251.4 kilometers. Participants face a rigorous course with 22 designated climbs, including two first-category and four second-category ascents, and eleven intermediate sprints, all contributing to a total positive elevation gain of 3,965 meters.

Organized collaboratively by all cycling societies in Aiaraldea and supported by the five municipalities of the Ayala region, Aiarako Bira draws around 200 athletes each year. This celebrated competition not only nurtures young talent but also strengthens community ties through a shared love for cycling, making each March in Aiaraldea synonymous with exciting, high-stakes racing.
