Aiasalessandria

AIAS – Sezione di Alessandria A.P.S. is a social promotion association supporting people with disabilities and their caregivers in the Alessandria area. Founded in 1971 by parents and volunteers, it has worked for more than 50 years to respond to the needs of individuals with disabilities and their families. Its mission is to foster integration, inclusion and personal autonomy while respecting each person’s individual needs and abilities.

The association offers professional consultations, training activities, workshops, social and educational interventions, and rehabilitation services. Its programs are developed around the needs people express and are intended to support participation and greater independence. AIAS Alessandria also provides information and assistance, organizes leisure activities and holidays, and operates a Disability Reception Centre. Through its projects and initiatives, the association works toward a more inclusive community that is attentive to the needs of people with disabilities and those who care for them. AIAS Alessandria is a Third Sector Entity, and the organization invites supporters to contribute to its projects through donations.
