AIAS ETS Partinico is a private, nonprofit association based in Partinico, Sicily, working in rehabilitation and social inclusion for people with disabilities. Since 2010, the organization has focused on supporting the health, abilities and potential of the people it serves, through a team of professionals and collaborators.
Its services include outpatient and home-based rehabilitation, as well as animal-assisted therapy and educational activities. Home assistance is available to people with severe disabilities who live in the municipalities served by the Partinico Social Health District 41, helping ease the care responsibilities of their families. AIAS also operates semi-residential day services for people with moderate to severe disabilities, including a district day centre. Individualized Therapeutic Projects provide community-based support through plans funded by a health budget.
Alongside care services, the association promotes social integration and inclusion projects. It works with local communities and institutions, and shares information about its activities, service standards, partnerships and news.
