The Apparel Industry Board, Inc. (AIBI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing the textile and sewn products community in Greater Chicago. Established in 1987, AIBI serves as the sole official agency in Illinois focused on addressing the unique needs of the sewn products industry. Comprising key industry players with expertise across design, manufacturing, merchandising, retail, and finance, AIBI is committed to supporting local designers and promoting apparel businesses.

In a collaborative effort with Artists' Resource Mobilization, AIBI also transitioned skilled artists into the production of personal protective equipment during the pandemic. Furthermore, AIBI offers resources and events for its members, solidifying its role as a pillar of support in Chicago's fashion industry.
