Aider Son Prochain

Aider Son Prochain (ASP) is a French nonprofit association founded in Vénissieux to provide practical support and create lasting connections with people in need. Its work is organized across two areas: social outreach and medical assistance. The medical program focuses exclusively on children, helping fund surgery and essential care for serious or rare conditions. Since its creation, ASP reports having supported around 20 children from countries and territories including Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Guyana, Albania, Mauritania, and Bangui. The association also arranges outings and hospital activities, such as shows and fairs, to bring enjoyment to children facing illness.

Through its social program, ASP distributes hot meals in Lyon near Gare Part-Dieu during winter, collects and redistributes clothing, and provides food parcels and clothing assistance to families living below the poverty line. The association operates branches in Paris and Annemasse and is supported by 100 volunteers, including 85 active members. ASP welcomes donations and volunteers, accepting financial and in-kind contributions through online giving, cheque, or bank transfer.
